Jani Gal Film Synopsis:

After getting caught in a demonstration which led the authorities to believe he was involved with an opposition group, a soon-to-be Kurdish father is falsely arrested. After being released from jail, he now tries his best to find his wife and newborn child.

Directed by Jamil Rostami Biography:

Jamil Rostami has been born in 1971 in Sanandaj, Iran. He has a BS in Chemistry from Sharif University, an Iranian famous university. Rostami entered the cinema industry at the age of 16. His first short film, The Problem of Being a Boy, won many National and International awards. JaniGal is his second feature film.
